“Un posto in cui tornare” (A Place to Return To) is more than just a charity event.
It’s a group of friends coming together every year to keep a story alive—creating opportunities to reflect, raise awareness, and stay connected.
The initiative was born in memory of Nicolò Zavatta, who tragically passed away on July 3, 2022, in the Marmolada glacier collapse. Since then, it has grown into something greater: a collective commitment to protect what we too often take for granted.
At its heart lies a simple yet powerful idea: having a place to return to.
It’s not guaranteed—it depends on our choices, our actions, and the respect we nurture today.
For the 2023 edition, I designed the main event illustration, working around the central theme: respect.
