The mountain is not just a landscape or a holiday destination: it is memory, identity, conflict, care, coexistence, and freedom. Today more than ever, it is also a place where environmental, cultural, and political battles are fought—some of the most urgent challenges of our time.

That’s why illustrating the cover of the new issue of Ossigeno magazine was such a meaningful experience. The issue explores the mountain in all its complexity, far from clichés and stereotypes. I also created the interior illustrations that accompany the texts throughout the publication.
