In heraldry, the pelican is a symbol of piety, love and charity for one’s neighbor and can represent the good parent who feeds his children with his virtue. For the 45th anniversary of “Fidas Creazzo” I reinterpreted the piety of the pelican which is the symbol of blood donors. My version replaces the little ones of the bird with a test tube from which life blossoms, a figuration of the importance of voluntary donation and of the associations that promote it.
