Skialper is a specialized publication dedicated to ski mountaineering, alpine equipment, and mountain culture. Through tests, editorial content, and collaborations with brands, it acts as a reference point for the ski touring community. The project was developed in collaboration with Ferrino, a historic brand producing technical backpacks and outdoor gear.

For the limited-edition ski mountaineering backpack Ravanage 2, created for Skialper subscribers in collaboration with Ferrino, I designed a series of embroidered patch illustrations inspired by the visual language and slang of ski touring culture.

The icons translate this informal “tribal” vocabulary into a set of bold, playful graphics, designed to be applied to the backpack as collectible elements. The process felt like drawing fresh tracks on untouched snow — energetic, instinctive, and open to creative exploration through vivid color and expressive forms.
